Will Indian culture slowly vanish with more and more western influence

I stay in Bangalore and yesterday seemed like a normal day in there city.

I am from a small town and we used to celebrate dussehra with enormous zeal.

Young people weren't bothered of what the day was. They will surely not pass it on to the coming generation.

People here celebrated Halloween work more enthusiasm.

Culture will modify and evolve as society starts to merge with other societies.

For example the way muharram ceremony is conducted in India is very inspired way from hindu way of celebrating Ganesh chaturthi etc.

You did not see much charm of dussehra because it was never celebrated in bangalore that ways. You should see bangalore in Ganesh Chaturthi or during ugadi.

Youngsters in bangalore will celebrate festivals with equal zeal when they go back to their families and hence when they will build their own families.
