Why aren't IT firms like TCS/Wipro/Infosys moving into the Tech-Startup space as Tata Sons is?

Tata has extensively funded a lot of startups in the recent past and is also planning to launch a startup incubator and is currently laying out the blueprint for the same.

However we have not heard any investments or interest of TCS/Wipro/Infosys in this domain. Though these giants understand tech better than any but what is stopping them/ what will make them, come into this space?

Simple! They understand what a true business is. Tata is merely throwing away his investments (looking at his funded startups https://yourstory.com/2016/01/ratan-tata-startups/ ) they are on a roll!

Tata sons mostly never reveal the amount invested, why do you think so? They dont invest in huge numbers. The amount invested is usually very less and the intention here seems to be only increasing their portfolio, they are not investing in volumes, rather in numbers
