Saddam Hussein never intended to use chemical weapons against the world. US 'got it so wrong' on Saddam Hussein: Ex-CIA agent

“We never thought about using weapons of mass destruction. It was not discussed. Use chemical weapons against the world? Is there anyone with full faculties who would do this? Who would use these weapons when they had not been used against us?”

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein claimed that he never went after chemical weapons and the US' lack of 'listening spirit' led to his fall, ex-CIA agent John Nixon revealed in his book. However, CIA's profile of Saddam characterises him as a chronic liar, he added. Notably, Nixon was tasked with identifying if the captured Saddam was real or a body double.

Is Air pollution also a forgotten problem now? What is being done to control it?

Today, air pollution & traffic congestion is no longer just a problem in Delhi but also a threat to Delhi’s people. Around 30,000 people die of air-pollution annually in NCR. This is certainly a serious issue and we all must work together to resolve it. If it’s necessarily killing us, it is surely making our lives miserable as it is extremely difficult to be out there during the peak traffic hours. The only effective solution to this rising threat is to reduce the traffic. And this can only be achieved by sharing rides.

Modi has been called a dictator because of his Demonetisation move, But was it even constitutional?

The demonitisation was declared outside the jurisdiction of the Parliament. The Parliament is supreme as the name suggest i.e., Parliamentary Democracy. In the past two cases of demonitisation, there was a government ordinance declaring it. The President was not briefed as a Constitutional Head. Is it not mockery of democracy. The court should pass severe sticture on the functioning as executive chief. India is not a banana republic that one can disregard the rules and procedures of Govt. Functioning

"Government gears up to facilitate Aadhar based financial transactions through mobile phones" Is this an unplanned, fast scaled development which can never lead to success?

With Modi's wish to turn cashless, Aadhar based financial transactions happening through mobiles, are we even ready for such an unprecedented growth? Will this not cause a lot of confusion and unsettlement in the rural areas?

India need to grow but we can't be forced to grow this way!?

A new startup metric for these times

Burn rate / Valuation

If Flipkart 5 billion is accurate, then its already about 10 % for Flipkart with a burn of about 500 million per year

Would be interesting to plot all the startup superstars on this metric

Flipkart valuation slashed to $5.54 bln by investor Morgan Stanley - The Economic Times

What is the real picture of today's case cannot be predicted on the videos and headlines framed by media. It will only be known when CBI gives an explanation. But it cannot be denied that CBI is a body which is highly influenced by the central government and tool for serving its objectives or motives. CBI was a body made by an executive order to deal with economic and social offences like corruption and frauds, offences of internal security like terrorist activities manhandled riots and communal violence and other suspensive incidents to bring justice and equality to the people. This was originally done for benefitting the public at large. But the present scenario is that public is not even aware anything thing about any activities of CBI.

Modi is hinting at withdrawing India's support from Indus water treaty, a much needed step!

Though one thing bothers me a lot here is how will China react to this, being an ally of Pakistan and Brahmaputra coming from China, maybe India should rethink its options here?
