Why we should legalize child labour

The proposed amendments to the Child Labour Act, 1986 are aimed at aligning it with the Right to Education Act, 2009 for it seeks to prohibit child labour up to 14 years. In doing so, the government seeks to achieve universal enrolment of all children between the ages of 6-14 as mandated under the RTE. While it seeks to prohibit child labour upto 14 years, it only regulated the employment of children between 15-18 years. In effect, it dilutes the definition of child under the National Policy for Children 2013 which defines children as persons below the age of 18 years. Also the prohibition of child labour upto 14 years has been introduced with a rider where under, children under 14 years are permitted to be employed family enterprises after school hours. This provision has the potential of being misused by employers, who may try to pass off the child labour employed by them as a relative. Further, it will facilitate the employment of children in family occupations, which will lead to reinforcing adherence to caste based occupations preventing children from choosing an occupation of their choice. While the law increases punishment for employing child labour, it does little to address the problem of low prosecution and conviction rates under the Act. The amendment also permits employing children in the audiovisual, entertainment and advertising industries. This especially worrying since children employed in these industries are subject to intense trauma in order enhance the thrill and suspense, which these industries thrive on.

With Public Racism and Xenophobia, similarities with the buildup to the Second World War are real

So because the citizens want to vote for their own laws, and put a halt to the wasted money pouring in to an ever more corrupt parliament, we are now all racists, and here comes world war 3 ? This reaction from people makes me realise how pathetic half of these nation are. People think if they scream and shout like children about others leaving the EU, it will make them look like the rest of the herd, it now makes perfect sense. The remain voters dont want to run their own country, they are scared to make their own decisions. They just follow everyone else in life. They heard that its cool, and hipster trendy to vote to stay, and shout as loud as they can to look "modern", and reject the "old fashioned" nonsense of self-governance. They are a bunch of cowards who lost a democratic vote, and now think democracy is stupid and inconvenient because the majority of voters dont agree with their ideas.

We shouldn't have very high hopes with Pogba, reason : Ravel Morrison and Terry Cooke

I dont think they are comparable. There wasnt ever any sign that Adu had an ego problem. It was more that he was horrendously over-promoted and had all manner of expectations put onto him. That in itself was a product of Americas desire to really push its best and brightest into the spotlight just so they could show the world "Look, we have super talent too!", despite the fact that really good players were indeed coming through the system, but doing it the regular way; playing their way through academies into the first team, slowly making a name for themselves then finally getting scouted by international clubs, then continuing to climb the ladder. Dempsey, Howard, McBride and, to a lesser degree, the likes of Stuart Holden and Eddie Lewis, all did it this way. Adu and, to a degree, Altidore were pushed way faster and ended up failing.

Isn't it enough that he spoke against a core constituency which builds the Hinutva bandwagon, do we need to really take this as far as action ?
