2,50,000 civilians might die in Aleppo in the next 10 days!

While Russian and Syrian forces exterminating the evil, US and Saudi intelligence forces came to an agreement on giving a chance for ISIS terrorists to leave safely Mosul

Putin and Assad will carpet bomb as many as they want. The Russian trolls will come and lay the blames on the US government, causing more distraction. Nobody will do anything. Nobody. All will just be talks and conference to conference for peace. But there will be no peace. Putin will get what he wants. That is the world we are living today. We are humans. Wicked and egoistic. This is just a preparation for future wars to come. They will be more violent. Folks get ready for that.
The Russian and Syrian leaders have no sympathy for human lives. They are really really evil. The killing will continue. So be ready to watch more killings.

What should be Governments next step with the excess black money it gets its hands on?

Infusion of fund in PSU banks to deal with the rising NPA issue and clean their booksheet and increase the lending hence decreasing the bank interest rates. Govt can use the money in fundling infrastructure projects which we so direly need and increase the emloyement and income of the country. We can also try paying back the interest and loan to international organisation.

Donald Trump will now ridicule the Paris agreement to supposedly help everyone out of the Global warming conspiracy

His business practice, out of which he has done well for himself, has been to treat wealth as a zero-sum game: if he wins, someone loses, like at poker. And he can be admired for making money at the expense of others for years. But politics isn't a zero-sum game. If you win at the expense of your people you've failed. If your people win at the expense of other people you've failed. Competition in internal affairs is always wasteful, is always ultimately a path to war. Co-operation is the only alternative. Milosevic, in Serbia, failed to understand this; he brought years of destruction and eventually, bloodshed to his own people. Putin fails to understand this. He came to power through war, threatens war and he needs to be held back from madness. Trump also fails to understand this. The war in the middle east is peanuts compared to the fighting that will result from irrational behaviour abroad in the current world.

President should have more power than just being a titular head

Our country has Parliamentary form of government. All real powers are vested in council of ministers headed by Prime Minister. President acts only on the advice of Council of ministers. So yes aptly asked why do we need President? Political instability is a common problem of our parliamentary system. It is administered by President. He provides continuity in the process of governance. However this is best done if the president is apolitical, which somehow has changed drastically nowadays.
President represents Indian Union and therefore, with respect to unity and integrity of India, office of President has special significance. Governance needs political as well as apolitical inputs. Apolitical or technical inputs can be better provided by the President.

The Olympics Cost Cities Dearly And Rio Is No Exception

The Games will no doubt end up in Qatar or Azerbaijan etc when the IOC run out of usual contenders who actually want to host it. Look at whats happening in money-hungry F1 - tracks with history are replaced by new tracks in countries that pile millions of public money into the sport as a marketing opportunity. They are the same countries who poach the best African athletes to run for them in the upcoming Games, again to be in the spotlight. I watched the Junior World Athletics Champs last week and the amount of times commentators had to describe some 19-yr-old runner etc as a former Kenyan or ex Ethiopian was ridiculous! Thats what international Olympic sport has become. Corrupt leaders using their cash and boredom to buy gold medals and be in the spotlight.

China's relationship with UK 'at risk' over Hinkley Point delay

The post Brexit opportunities are there. Question is whether the Brits are brave enough to take them. 1. China hires the Brits to push RMB as international reserve currency. Budget of 100 Trillion in RMB to be loaned out to central banks around the globe. Picks up the economy worldwide and pushes China exports. Service export income doubles for GB in 5 years. 2. Britain ends the arms embargo against China, and sells 60% of Rolls Royce to China, in exchange for sole supplier status for all engines to civil airliners, and contracted terms to increase British employment of RR by 100% in 5 years. All told, tech goods exports to China increase 10 fold. 3. Britain participates in Chinas new 50 universities in 50 towns project (placing new schools in rural Chinese townships to take advantage of new rail access and much lower real estate prices). First amongst them a super computing applications program. China already boasts many super computers on the TOP500 (No. 1 and No. 2 are both Chinese). But applications and use of the massive computing power for research still lag. Meld the research minds of the Brits with the braun of the first exascale computer in the world.
