Why can't we privatize railways

The railways should be largely nationalized with private operators allowed but with no subsidy from government. Most Railways can't be truly privatized as businesses because they don't make any profit. They are not a proper business.
They loose money which means they need to be given subsidy by government. Railways stopped making money in mid/late 1900s when Cars and buses started to take much of their business. Remember most railways in the past made their profits from freight not passenger trains but freight has declined hugely.

The Expansion of Sinosphere

China is no angel as every country in history that becomes powerful, goes rogue. China is bad in many ways, however, recent history and facts tell us that the comparison between China and the U.S. is exactly opposite of your "delusion".

Read Noam Chomsky, watch Oliver Stone's documentary called "Untold History of the U.S." or google more on history sections of university sites. Americans helped Europe invade and push drugs into China twice, turning the Roosevelt and Delano (John Kerry's family) families into millionaires. It was the "coalition of the willing", using a term from Donald Rumsfeld, and it was lucrative. How many times has China invaded the U.S. or Europe? For invading and winning the opium war in China, Britain stole Hong Kong. Most people are still brainwashed into believing Britain's lies that HK was leased. Has China invaded Britain or the U.S. and taken Manchester or Miami? Which country is more of a threat? The one that has invaded or the one that hasn’t?

Self employment used to be a fad, now it’s fading

There’s been a lot of hype around the term entrepreneur and startups over the past few years. There is an increasing number of news channels and media outlets emerge in the public sphere that focus primarily on entrepreneurship. While popularity isn’t a bad thing, it’s a force that has created a fad. Starting up a business now has never been easier. Even a mediocre Google search will come back with billions of results, from step-by-step manuals on how to start a business to real-life entrepreneur stories. Not to mention, the abundance of books available in the market offering in-depth education on business practice. But theory has never and will never succeed practicality and thats when and how most of the startups are failing!

Banning Burqa and niqab in France, treating humans at par or hurting their religious sentiments

People should be free to wear what they want, but i also see this outward display of religion as the equivalent of showing a finger at non Muslims and my gut reaction is to see it as an act of intimidation. Especially since I find there are a number of countries where the headscarf was barely worn forty years ago but where it is now commonplace-which would seem contrary to the modernisation of those countries. The deaf part of me sees them as pretty bloody rude-because one is deprived of the opportunity to lip read any speaker wearing the full veil.Or to see the expression of the face. The atheist in me sees all forms of dress associated with religion as potentially offensive, depending upon the attitude of the religion in question to non believers. As a woman I cannot see why any woman would want to wear this-other than to avoid sunburn-if not forced. But as a woman, I cannot see why any woman has anything to do with the religions made up by and devised for the benefit of men.

Tobacco companies are resisting the increase in pictorial warnings on cigarette packets, being a huge contributor in tax and an aid for tobacco farmers the government should not corner these players

The options the government has to discourage smoking in India are to redesign IEC campaigns so they are more effective and reach a larger section of the population, legislative and executive action to enforce rules relating to pictorial warnings and plain packaging of cigarettes. They should also yearly increase taxes levied on cigarettes to discourage consumption and production. Controlling advertising of tobacco products through mass media and indirect means or surrogate advertising
