During last evening's lecture Prof. Dinesh Singh- Redefining Education: Enabling India - AwareMonk it was pointed out that only 14% of the IIT students can be called "employable". With such a meager percentage in the most prestigious colleges in India, one can't help but wonder how dismal the situation really is in other colleges of the country.
