These types of attacks are not openly declared to the people generally. Why this time?

Has Mr Modi's speech today already replied to Pakistan's aggression or is it just a PR rehash

Although the speech was different from your garden variety we condemn Pakistan , I cannot see why some media analysts are calling it master stroke. As expected the speech was full of rhetoric and claim, but other than that it offered nothing substantial.

Sorry to spell this out,but addressing Pakistan citizens is a futile move. Apart from the fact that the speech will not reach majority of Pakistan citizens, why would they believe PM of enemy country. More importantly Pakistan Army actions are not affected by general public sentiments.

Modi mentioned Gilgit-Balitistan and Sindh province in his speech. Given that we haven't done any substantial progress in regard to Baluchistan affair, I am not sure what effect this will have on Pakistani establishment.

He again reiterated that Uri will be avenged but reality is that we have failed in almost every aspect to isolate Pakistan : No country has directly condemned Pakistan for spreading terror, economic sanctions are nowhere in scene and frankly our UN speech fell on deaf ears. By now it should be clear, world don't care about India being a victim of terrorism.

Government has no plan to scrap Indus Water treaty and also MFN status to Pakistan is going to stay.

So yes it was mere PR rehash.

Is India Army a paper tiger ?

"India’s armed forces look good on paper. It fields the world’s second-biggest standing army, after China, with long fighting experience in a variety of terrains and situations ...

Yet there are serious chinks in India’s armour. Much of its weaponry is, in fact, outdated or ill maintained...

Despite their growing brawn, India’s armed forces still lack a brain"

Have you heard one American university which has had slogans in favour of Osama bin laden. Candles light in support of Osama Bin Laden and Mohamed Atta the 9/11 bomber.
