Curfew for third consecutive month! Amongst the India-Pakistan battle is Kashmir yet again forgotten?

The PDP-BJP coalition government is credited with many Firsts in the Kashmir Valley. One, the government broke all previous records of curfews. Kashmir witnessed its longest curfew in its living memory under BJP-PDD rule from July to September. Kashmir has suffered immensely. There is a humanitarian crisis, political crisis and economic crisis. India and Pakistan cannot enjoy fruits of economic stability and regional peace if they ignore the Big Fat Elephant in the room that Kashmir dispute is. Kashmir can actually become a bridge of friendship between Pakistan and India if the leaders from both countries act as responsible and statesmen do, sabre rattling and war mongering will help no one. India and Pakistan can't afford to put Kashmir under the carpet. Peace will only come when the dispute is resolved, according to the aspirations of the people of Kashmir. Living in denial will only make Pakistan, India and Kashmir bleed for ever. About time that Mr. Modi puts an end to war mongering narrative and get real to come on to the negotiating table to discuss Kashmir with Kashmiris, and Pakistan as stakeholders.
