Should India embrace the expelled artists or was it right in expelling them?

I dont understand the fuss, Pakistani actors come to India for money not because they love India. India is the cash cow to them, nothing wrong with that but we should be so emotional because of the social media noise. Within the safety of their homes, barring a few most Pakistani artists would say things that are not complimentary towards India.

A manager's role in football is over-hyped.

With Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp, Conte and Wenger the Premier League has without a doubt become the most competitive and watchable league in the world. But when you see the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Dortmund during their games, the gulf in class is almost embarrassing. The Premier League teams are nowhere close to that level. With such teams being managed by far less experienced managers such as Luis Enrique, Zidane and Tuchel, one can't help but wonder how big really is the role of a manager? Maybe it's just having a good enough personality to act as an enabler between great players in a squad.

Is war the only option or can we straighten Pakistan with other means as well?

Ethical considerations may get ignored in an emotionally charged atmosphere nevertheless they must form the basis of decisions specially when we adhere to the principle of world peace. A terrorist state must be dismantled for world peace and progress of India. This would also provide satisfaction to the martyrs families and the Nation as a whole.

This country needs a massive overhaul in its education system

The higher level institutions need autonomy and they need to work without any political interference. We need to separate out universities , IITs, IIMs from ministry and there should be a separate body looking after them without any interference from politics. Also right now India is lacking in research work and we are not investing in it. For this government to incentivize universities, people and allocate more money.

British couldn't colonize China as they did with India and the USA. Was China mighty even in colonial era?

Because India had a society which was organized in a cast system, and the British just set themselves on top of this cast system. China would ahve meant to much trouble but the British controlled all the trade coming in and out of it, thus they had everything they needed without needing to expand at high costs into the mainland of China.

India has huge demographic divident and also IT hub. It can utilize the digital technologies like edustat ,peneratration distance learning programme at affordable cost, volunteer initiative for community schooling with help of NGOs and government etc can help to improve the quality of home schooling in India. In addition to this changes in admission procedure in higher institute for inclusion of home school students should be done. Still Home education is only seen as supplementary to the regular school programmes and not as alternative.

There is nothing stopping the increase in economic disparity between the Indian States

Prior to the 91 reforms, the economic disparity was caused by the geographical locations, presence of resources, connectivity, potential for economic usage of their human capital, cultural history and progressive/conservative mindset of the ruling governments, etc. The reforms have essentially exaggerated the reasons mentioned before. As connectivity and communication increased, more and more people started migrating to the richer states for opportunities. Lack of economic ability beforehand also meant that the poorer states could not invest as much in education, infrastructure, etc. Progressive legislation was also found wanting and this ultimately hurts a state's chances to fill its coffers (e.g alcohol prohibition in Bihar has deprived the state of huge revenue and led to corporations looking at other states for presentations, meetings, etc.). This ultimately becomes a vicious cycle.

India's squad for the NZ test series has been announced. Overlooking Gautam Gambhir is baffling!

He's running on 35 years now. With a long season of 13 Tests in front of us, it makes more sense to give chances to players with time well on their side. Every series is a chance to make the Team grow, not look for stop-gap solutions.

Dictatorship failed because of people who came to power not because it is flawed as a concept.

Usually when I hear about a dictator I think of someone that's power hungry and always ends up hurting the people in some way. Has there ever been a dictator that was somewhat nice or made really good decisions that benefited the people?

Historically Tibet has always been caught between the two superpowers, India and China. Mostly one or the other held sway. I don't think that would change. Add the modern powers of Russia and the USA and it would be hard work to stay independent and have a successful economy.

Is the startup job scene really going down ?

Not just jobs but complete Indian startup ecosystem is in complete mess. Simply because of the 4 major reasons:

1) INEXPERIENCED ENTREPRENEURS

Most of the entrepreneurs that are developing their start-ups are very young. They do not have the required experience to develop a start-up having a good future growth and in addition to it these entrepreneurs do not get the experienced advisors for their start-ups as their experience can be a good support for the young ones.

2) STAGE OF BOOTSTRAP

Today is the era of technology and most of the data is being handled by the computer but the Indians are not observed to reach the stage of bootstrapping and it is one of the reason why the bubbly may burst.

3) LACK OF PLANNING

As mentioned earlier that the entrepreneurs are quite inexperienced and so they lack the idea of planning for the company. Firstly, all they plan is to be the best of their country but they do not have the right planning for this purpose. They soon have to perform cost cutting by reducing their operations due to low funding or lack of other resources. The key is to get the right planning according to the resources they have.

4) MONEY SPENT

The money that is usually spent for the service of the customers is not very profitable and due to this fact they have to face problems at initial levels when this is realized that their decision was not right.

But if the right measures and precautions are taken then the trend of start-ups may survive and have a bright future in India.
