Digitisation will ensure all transactions take place through banking system. Thereby transaction data is recorded and visible to relevant authorities. This ensures ease of enforcement. Nothing eliminates corruption other than people giving up their greed. Lok pal is meant only to deal with government officials corruption. Digitisation will help uncover private sector corruption. For example, can a private university ask you to pay hefty capitation fee through banking system with a receipt? If they do and you report it, then will be caught. Thats the whole idea. Same holds for real estate, drug pedlars and terror funding. Can terrorists receive money into their bank accounts through any other digital means? Please try to understand how digitisation is necessary along with the upcoming GST implementation.

Draupadi: A classic tale of women oppression like many others in our mythological books!

Not at all, the mythology or any history talks about wars and battles the most. Rani laxmi bai is talked about when it comes to battle. women were rarely warriors doesnt mean they were oppressed. We are inking anything to anything here this way

Modi's plan of housing for all, should this be a reality?

What is required for minimum housing for masses, to provide a normal room with toilet, supported with semi covered spaces for cooking etc. and open area for day long house hold activities. Our climatic needs are to be taken in consideration for providing liveable spaces to masses at the minimum expenditure, to make it affordable and maintainable?

By funding these Islamists the UK and USA have prolonged this conflict and deepened its impact. Obviously the aim was to topple Assad but to what end? Did they think that a Government could be formed from amongst the dozen of so rebel factions who are not only currently fighting Assad but each other? If Assad falls then civil war will rage indefinitely. If these rebels were the moderates they claimed to be and not vicious jihadists then they wouldn't currently be using the people of Aleppo as human shields. If the UK and USA cut support to them then it would go a long way to cutting short this war.

State Courts have started crossing the line and forming their own rules!

The constitution of India states judicial review to procedure established by law for upholding constitutional provisions. But due to executive inaction and malafide political laws SC justified and defined Public interest litigations in SP Gupta vs Union of India case as tools for poor and public good. But it is seen judicial encroachment, in cases like banning of alcohol in three districts of Uttarakhand and single medical NEET exam all over India' on executive and legislative powers. Though case like Lily Thomas leading to disqualification of convicted lawmakers are welcomed but judicial actions and laws are bereft of deliberations and public participation rather on interpretation by judges alone. Also courts taking suo moto several PILs is one reason for pendency of many cases in judicial system.

So courts must refrain from over reach by giving directions on directive principles as laws are best made by political deliberations with strong civil societies and pressure groups. The representatives of people are accountable to people and the accountability must be strengthened for effective actions. Separation of powers is a basic structure of constitution. Recent directive of SC to judges to refrain from personal interpretation and over reach must be adhered to and judicial activism must not lead to judicial over reach.

Drastic changes are taking place in the Pakistan Military, what do you think will be their next move?

Such changes clearly state that Pakistans strategy will not be the same as it was, will it now be more aggressive or sort out the India-Pak conflict once and for all/.

Pakistan’s new Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday removed the head of the country’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) as part of a major reshuffle.

Gen. Bajwa, who took over from Gen. Raheel Sharif two weeks ago, however, did not name Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar’s successor. Lt. Gen. Akhtar has been appointed president of the National Defence University (NDU), the Army said in a statement.

Why is it that Schools curriculum does not contain aptitude and critical thinking?

Naveen tripathi had posted

The problem is not with real critical thinking, but with the way in which education fads can end up with vapid solutions rather than serious teaching. I am guessing that

Varun ravikant Work in the field of Agriculture and want to

People are usually good at critical thinking when they are assessing arguments or evidence that run counter to their own assumptions but not so good when assessing evidence that supports their own bias. Partly this is the result of our cultural failings, which encourage us to think in simplistic, either/or terms about issues that may have many angles and dimensions, and which also reflect our tribal origins. It also comes from our personal vanity. Unless these fundamental problems are dealt with, no amount of formal training in logic or critical analysis will have any effect. You only have to examine the posts on internet forums dealing with controversial scientific topics to see these defects of human cognition in enthusiastic action.

Demonetisations phycological effect is finally wearing off and the reality is coming forward. What should the Govt. do to sustain the emotional and financial hit?

You are trying way too hard to rake up hatred on the demonetization move.Let it go still verse. May be 6 more months. We hardly have any problem. But I keenly count on every single being, like you, who has a problem. I would down vote all of them as well as the people who they are in support of, during the 2019 elections. We just smoked the holes, and the rats are coming out. Now itz not even time for 2nd stage, because Modi asked until Dec 31. You guys fold and keep your stats in your back pockets.During 2nd stage we will kill the rats. Later we fill the gaps.Later we sow the seeds then we nurture the plans.

Amma was a populist leader thus won the hearts of the masses, but can AIADMK survive without Amma?

The first thing that will happen is that DMK will buy out ADMK MLAs. Not most of them, but enough to get a majority in the Tamil Nadu assembly. This will go to court (probably the Supreme Court), and will be ruled unconstitutional. The clock will be turned back, and the assembly's composition will return to how it was before the MLAs defected.

Now, when the assembly re-convenes, the speaker will probably dismiss the MLAs who defected. This will lead to a situation where the DMK will ask for a confidence vote to be held. The government will lose the trust vote (provided it is held anonymously and fairly), and one of two things will happen: the DMK will take over the assembly with the support of the diminished strength; or, more likely, snap elections will take place. On the back of MK Stalin's popularity and AIADMK's complete breakdown in the lack of a compelling replacement, the DMK will win these elections in a landslide.

In the political vacuum that follows, AIADMK will either dissolve, or become insignificant. Both national parties will aggressively ally with smaller parties, but won't be able to gain dominance over the DMK unless one of them basically gives up on Tamil Nadu.

Govt. has hiked the Minimum Support Price but shouldn't it first implement the existing prices

The MSP shouldnt be there in the first place, it distorts the free market. It favours some particular crops over other crops such as wheat and rice where favoured in Punjab and Haryana because of the MSP provided on them however the pulses have been neglected even though it’s very important in providing nutritional security to people. It even degrades the soil because of irrespective of the soil condition, some crops are preferred which have MSP over them which results in exploitation of group water resources, alkanity, decrease in the production of the crops in long run

Instead of cashless why not turn value free ?

Over the years, many domains of the state have been taken over by private interests - e.g. schools., colleges, hospitals, medical centers, security, sanitation, utilities.

As one expects more govt revenue now, why not get a guarantee from the state to provide quality outcomes in each of these for free without the need for either cards or mobile payments.

Ola seeking funds at 40% lower valuation, is the reality starting to tickle down finally?

Ride-hailing app Uber's rival Ola is reportedly seeking funding at a 40% lower valuation of around $3 billion. Existing investor SoftBank may join the next round, but not lead it. If the deal goes through, Ola will be India's first unicorn, or billion-dollar startup, to accept funds at a lower valuation.

Proper infra especially toilets for girls, lab, drinking water facility. Teachers incentive should be based on learning outcomes.
