Which is more important? Skills or Degrees?

Both are equally important in this emerging world. Degree and skill are two sides of the same coin. It moves parallel as like railway track. To succeed in life, a person need to have a degree along with the skill. A degree without the skill would be as empty and vice- versa. Both need to go hand-in-hand in order to be the survival of the fittest. Degree is a certified documentation of the skill within the individual. Every person having the skill may not manage to attain the degree. Similarly, every degree holder is not necessarily skilled.

If you're going to support or influence a political party whether significantly as an individual or as part of a collective, you have a responsibility to know something of these things. More, I would say, than the responsibility to know about the fine details of the wider world of global politics, as far more exciting and engaging as it surely is by comparison.

While this is a good sign for the economy, there is a need for regulation in several areas because of threats associated with online data privacy, bankruptcy of e-wallets, digital transfer of money for terror funding etc.

Regulation should be in KYC norms, E-commerce firms must be asked to comply with KYC norms in order to better track the flow of money. Also monitoring Investors, balance sheets of e-wallets etc. must be carefully monitored like that of banks, for signs of stress. Investors must be provided with suitable exit policy and proper insolvency code must be available to them.

This is only the beginning of football's sex abuse scandal but are we adult enough to confront our hideous past?

Just as well I never follow football, until a few years ago I had no idea it was so corrupt what with Septic Blatter and now this at a lower level. This though sounds like another Jimmy Saville coverup.

3% people file itr and 1% people actually pay income tax. if a person has fundamental right then he has fundamental duty to file itr compulsorily honestly. i think its better to carried out door to door financial checking. this would improve the tax compliance.

Modi is hinting at withdrawing India's support from Indus water treaty, a much needed step!

We must direct all our waters to the farmers. Pakistan Government must be responsible to supply water to their farmers! As it is they have not done any dams or embankments for a long long time. The reason for Pakistans punjabis prosperity lies with Indias water which must be taken back. Pakistan is deaf to peace talks, supporting Balochistan and killing Indus water treaty is the only option left

The last 2 times the Republican party had total/major control were 1928 and 2001, and we got 2 depressions/ recessions. Whats next?

The stock market was pretty new in the 1920s. For one, we now have legislation (Securities Exchange Act of 1934) that governs much of what you can and can't do with publicly traded companies. As an example, directors of companies must notify the public when they transact in company stock, majority shareholders must be known to the public, and companies must release annual reports and quarterly earnings. This was not the case in the 1920s, and executives could pool their money to buy stocks to drive up prices and create a false sense of confidence

Trump won, Do people love Trump or hate Hillary more?

Around 55% of Americans have an unfavourable view of her; about the same number do not trust her. Yet, among those who know Mrs Clinton, even critics praise her integrity. She is a politician, therefore self-interested and cynical at times—yet driven, they say, by an overarching desire to improve America.
