Modi is failing to keep up the promises made. No doubt he is working hard, then what is really going wrong?

If people of nation are dissatisfied and you blame the people for being dissatisfied then you are making an infinite loop. Dalit issue, beef row, increased taxes, poor job creation rate, increase in prices are not very proud key pointers of the tenure. The man is working hard, his problems might be bigger than his promises but then he with his govt should talk about it, and not not create a picture that everything is very rosy and whoever pointing a finger has an agenda.

You will agree that Modi Government is making sincere efforts towards development in all spheres. Perhaps it may take some time for these efforts to fructify. We can not ask for the moon overnight! The neighbourhood, including China, has always been remaining both fragile and hostile, which is being handled deftly within the existing constrains. How else can we improve our economic globalisation unless we begin with USA, for it is USA that is calling the shots in the world economy. The seats of high table will automatically invite us once we firm up with USA. Therefore, our inexorable drift towards the United States, not necessarily on its terms, is inevitable.

For a large percentage of population "acche din" started the day the UPA II was removed from the office. When UPA was thrown out, economy was in a shambles and many industry has excess capacity with labour remaining un-utilised. Due to infrastructure push given by this government the excess capacity is being utilised as the economy progresses the infrastructure development will create more jobs in the years to come. The government is actively engaged in creating world class infrastructure roads, telecommunication, power which is the corner stone of sustainable growth of economy. Side by side various other programs to develop skills, encouraging people to set up their own business ventures Mudra Bank is a dedicated bank aimed at people with ideas but not capital can start their own business enterprise. Even if a single such creates 5 jobs there will be substantial growth in employment. The government is supposed to create enabling environment for growth and the government is doing exactly the same. Majority of Indians are busy with doing their own things rather than worrying about secularism. India has been and will be secular and Indians do not need to learn from armchair writer about secularism and this culture is deeply ingrained in our system. There have been incidence of intolerance and there may have been riots. But most of these incidence were happening under the watch of so called secular party. We do not need to give them any special concession as our constitution guarantees all rights to them and no one can take away.

Judging Modis performance should be a factor of comparison between UPA and NDA. If such comparisons were conducted from 2004 at an interval of every 3 years, the chaotic misrule by the UPA would have been largely controlled. Probably such intensive scrutiny was reserved for application for the NDA regime under Mr. Modis leadership. Be that as it may, it is good that the government will be kept on its toes to deliver on its promises, by credible opinion makers. It is remarkable that within 3 years, as per this score card 70 % mark has been scored by Modi government. This should inspire the government to score 100 % before facing the general elections in 2019. Since the report says that the research body analyses both the BJP and the Congress in government , we would like to know if a similar score cards of UPA I and UPA II were prepared after detailed analysis . That will be a big support at the decision making levels of the voters to allow or disallow another term to Mr. Modis team to govern India.

Yes it is indeed very true that Mr. Modi has restored the faith of youth in the country. They now can discern a better future which was not the case during last government. There was despair all around the country. This change can be seen by observing the figures which eloquently apprise that more and more peoples are volunteering to support the country be it a “Give it up” or any other social welfare scheme. But there are peoples who had faith and were vehement supporter of Mr. Modi but now ask questions about the changes. Some people say that this government is serving only industrialist. Some say that this is the government of suited booted people. But I just want to ask one question where does this all money come from which is the only means of all reforms? Who generates this money? I would like to mention here that Indian farming only contributes around 15% of GDP. Where does this rest come from? The simple answer is these suited booted guys produce it by means of industry.

The impressive short term track record Mr. Modi has instilled a new hope in India that under his leadership, it will join the league of Developed Nations. Those who are duty bound , should give a helping hand leaving aside their political interests , to his team and become partners in such a growth. One biggest and tough challenge for the government is water resource management . Acute shortages in many states with parched throats and fields , due to historic deficiencies in managing this scarcest resource, failure of monsoons, and droughts should be ended . When there is excessive rainfall , the floods are devastating . Inter state water disputes hinder evolving a national policy on efficient water resources management . The rivers should be declared as national assets for the welfare of the whole country. Linking of rivers should be declared as the top most priority infrastructure project , and completed very quickly. This will decongest urban areas and ensure all round growth.

Its not about Modi, maybe elections run in supreme leader superstar mode can give outcomes, but governance in that mode cant solve the fundamental bottlenecks in economy and society for the welfare of common people. Modi can hardly be blamed for not solving the problems, we dont even have a national debate on the key problems that lie behind the symptoms and how to solve them. He can however be blamed for promising the moon ( guess he had to do it to win )
