LGBT

A safe space for the LGBT folk to discuss their lives, issues, interests, and passions. LGBT is a popular term used to discuss gender and sexual minorities, but all GSM are welcome beyond lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people who consent to participate in a safe space.

Millennials Are The Gayest Generation, is it so because we finally have awareness and its less of a taboo?

According to a new report from the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI), seven percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 35 (millennials) identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT). A previous study found that 3.5 percent of American adults identify as LGBT, meaning millennials are twice as likely to identify as gay compared to adults of all ages.

The world has not changed as much, is it so that we are finally coming out of our closet?

The main problem lies with mentality of most. I live in Rajasthan, never have I seen a gay out in the open. Not saying that there aren't any. But you see, where I live it's hard for us straight guys to find chicks and take them on dates left alone have intercourse with 'em. It's like having intercourse with a gal in my locality is next to impossible unless you're married. Cause if you do so, society won't let you and often use unnecessary means to stop you from intercourse even in the sanctity of your own house.

Things have changed a lot in various parts of the country. People are extremely liberal about sex in metro and and upcoming metro cities too. It is hard to change the orthodox mindset but the young generation is much open than the previous ones.

The things we are seeing nowadays with the LGBT community are not things that previous generations found abhorrent. I would say that a great many of these were ideas that were progressive in the 60s and 70s, but just seem like common sense now. So by the same token, most of the things that are considered progressive now will be the things that seem like common sense to the next generation.

When the older generation was the younger generation, most all gay people were in the closet. Because of the older generation of gay individuals and their supporters, gays now have the same legal and civil rights as non gays. If you doubt this, just ask a gay person who is in the older generation.
Because of the older generation, very soon, these fights will be history. The next generation will have different fights to fight. What exactly, you probably know better than I.
