Is AIADMK really incentivising people to attempt self-immolation and commit suicide? Why are we letting this happen?

The AIADMK party on Wednesday revealed that as many as 77 people have died of grief and shock over the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's illness and death. Releasing the list of dead persons, the party announced compensation of ₹3 lakh to their families as relief. AIADMK also announced ₹50,000 compensation for any party worker who had attempted self-immolation.

I dont get it, how is this not unlawful? How can they openly declare "compensation" for self immolation and suicide?

What else could you possibly expect? This is a clear win for them. If someone commits suicide then everyone loved Amma's so much that they could live with the fact that Amma is no more, and at the same time act all benevolent and offer compensation since they "cant" stop people from going their lives for their precious Amma.

This is a sickening politics
