Community to discuss Tibet issue in detail. Bringing out the problems faced and seeking solutions and support.
By bringing Tibet to limelight like Balochistan, India can play a masterstroke.
But can we bring about real change on the ground ?
Tibet is politically important for India, Tibet is ecologically important for Indian, Tibet is economically important for India. India has done a lot to us and there is alot of respect in Tibetans for India as a country, when we establish our power back in our place we will have a lot to learn from India.
The way India is mobilizing the world against balochistan occupation, it should for Tibet to simultaneously. More so because that will put pressure on China to stay out of India-Pakistan issue.
Change will happen, we have been fighting for a long time now and we are not tired.
I think we can. Upon reading up on Tibetan issues and initiatives undertaken by Tibet support groups, what seems to be lacking isn't the drive or logic behind demanding change, but adequate visibility to get these changes enforced. One of the reputed groups had launched a petition in 2011, for freeing one of the Tibetan cultural scholars- the petition had just about 300 signatures. Hopefully with the amplification we can generate via Awaremonk we can multiply this number manifold and gather steam for the innumerable issues plaguing the Tibetans.
