China is playing smartly a highly diplomatic and strategic role under the shadow of Russia. India is trying some times towards Russia or sometimes towards west but there seems no friend in distress. India seems loosing the balancing game as used to but rather getting played down. We gave a huge arms deal to Russia just like that which otherwise could ne maneuvered rightly to get due support. Russia has some issues with India those could been addressed but just an order. So let us see.

On the contrary, China shall call the shots and most of Asia's politics would be played under the shadows of Chinese expansionism and self-interest. Russia needs China more than vice-versa

BRICS is a precarious alliance in any case. Not much historical affinity, just an attempt to cobble common interests. Mutual slamming would not take the grouping very far.
