Hello Bawa and Dinesh ji!

I'm a huge fan of Bawa. Your video -technology of spirituality is simply mind blowing .The first thing I did after joining college was joining YES + program. Initially I did my kriya regularly and never missed a single follow up. But nowadays I am unable to do my kriya due to heavy workload .I hardly sleep nowadays due to my tight schedule. My semester examinations are also nearing .Please give me some suggestions in handling my schedule.

But the doubt is this that with the rising population in the World, even the number of souls are rising. Where do these souls come from? How many of us(souls) are actually there?

I'm a first year student of Ayurveda, just about 2 months into it. I thought learning and living in hostel would be fun and challenging. Instead of taking the difficulties as challenges I'm really getting scared. Because of which I don't feel like studying at all. What should I do to stop this negative approach and begin the positive one??

I am a working professional, will 'Ready Study Go' be of any use to me?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

Anisha Sinha , Volunteer, Art Of Living Nov, 04 2016

I agree because learning never stops. Learning new things keeps the enthusiasm in life up..

Aman Rawal , Geek by profession, Deep interest in science Nov, 04 2016

But the rate of learning drops drastically, once we finish our education and start career. Probably, Sakshi Sharma wanted to ask, how to keep that rate high.

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

The rule in your brain is use it or lose it.

The rate of learning drops precisely because you stop learning.

Start learning stuff again and you will be amazed at how good you are at it!

How did the idea of founding Yes+, initially came to you and Dineshji?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

We saw that many young people were living the life that they have to live rather than the life they wanted to live. We wanted to create something that would empower them. Spirituality, Yoga, Meditation are profound techniques that anyone can learn to bring the transformation they need. Yes!+ has all that and more.

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

No, it doesn't bother me much, I feel compassionate about them and feel they are doing this out of ignorance. I would wish that these people do some spirituality and do some meditation, they will bring some transformation in them, which will make them happy and people around them happy, which is what I aim to do as well. For example someone on Quora accused me of insanely greedy, You can read the question and the answer on www.quora.com

I have read that answer by you and what all the others had to say about it. If I may say so, I would agree with the other answers, that you are insanely greedy for knowledge.

I was reading your wiki and was surprised to see the list of things that you know and teach. I mean, an IIT grad, practicing yoga, plays piano and even knows how to cook (teaches as well). Its just amazing.

Have you seen a LED display holdings? At a given time different pixels light up to create different images. At some time it shows an advertisement called coke, Nike shoes etc So with the same story with the souls. At different times different ones light up and create the populations.

Rounak Garg , .. Nov, 04 2016

It somewhat clears my doubt Bawa. But is there a separate home for the souls. Where do they exactly come from? I mean the LEDs that are not lit up, whats up with them?

What happens with the soul that gets moksha(free from the cycle of birth and death? Where does it go?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

A soul that has moksha can light up if it wants to. It can see the whole.

It's when the wave realises it's the ocean to give you another analogy.

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

Finish your research, it's always a good idea to finish what you've started. Move from success to success, not from failure to failure.

Abhishek Sharma , Dreamer, Mechanical engineer @ BITS Pilani Nov, 04 2016

But, what if Joohi Chaturvedi has picked up a wrong subject for research, or she has taken up a branch of study, that was not what she wanted? Wouldn't it be a good idea, to realize early that you are not cut for it and leave, rather than wasting time in a futile effort to finish it?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

Your mind and brain can fool you. One of the big functions of the brain is to compel you to do things you "like" and avoid things you don't "like"

If you go thru life like this you accomplish very little.

Most times you HAVE to finish what you started. You get confidence, you feel great about yourself. Leaving things unfinished make you feel like a loser and life begins to suck.

If you push through challenges you become stronger. It would be a very rare case, when I would say, ok leave it, move on...

Life has a habit of bringing the same situations to you, same stories keep repeating until you resolve them.

Unless its so painful and feels utterly pointless, just finish what you started. You will thank yourself for it.

Hello Bawa n Dinesh Bhaiya :)

A friend, Arun Gagneja's question below:

Agar ham sab bhagwan k hath ki kathputli hai aur vahi hamse se sab karwata hai to ham se bure karam kaise ho jate hai? Ya fir Bhagwan hamse kuch nhi karwata?

That's where god is sleeping and you wake him up with your Sadhana, Seva or Satsang

Aman Rawal , Geek by profession, Deep interest in science Nov, 04 2016

I read about your life and the path you have chosen. I am a normal middle class person who is stuck in the rat race of 9 to 5. How can someone like me, attain that inner peace and happiness, you talk about, while not worrying about making ends meet?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

That's what is the ART of living. Inspite of all our challenges how we can smile through them. Even Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, Jesus, Buddha had challenges in their lives. Wisdom and Meditation makes you unshakable and productive.

Aman Rawal , Geek by profession, Deep interest in science Nov, 04 2016

So, even if you were not such a brilliant mind and did not hold a degree from IIT, you still think that ART of Living would have made you feel at peace, the way it does now?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

Vivek Sharma , Pursuing Msc. Physics at IIT D Nov, 04 2016

While we are in schools and colleges, our graphs of learning is ever rising. However, once we finish the degree and enter professional world, it is almost constant. Can you provide some guidelines to keep us motivated and keep learning?

Khurshed Batliwala , Khurshed holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from I Nov, 04 2016

Make you purpose of why you are doing what you are doing strong and clear. Then motivation levels can be kept up. Also while learning something, dont be afraid to be a fool. The more mistakes you do (new ones, not repeating the same old ones), the faster you learn.

Hrishikesh Bhat , Teacher. Meditator. Cooking enthusiast. Marti Nov, 04 2016

Bawa n Dinesh da,

I'm a teacher who runs a tutorial center from home. I see the need to evolve the teaching methods in schools. Make it stress free. And more creative. May be through interactive videos which implement innovative teaching techniques like the way you teach. I want this to reach as many and also do this for a living. So How to come up with an effective business model which schools and parents buy, feeling the need for such a system in the education?

Organising and attending the Art of Living Stress-Free Teaching Workshop will help big time. While creating innovating techniques, dont have to reinvent the wheel if there are already available online. Else reading Ready Study Go or practising Meditation can give you a fresh wave of insights. And when you have good content, it will sell. Business models will organically evolve ...
